Title: Sales Manager (General Manager Track) – Facilities Services Division

Compensation: $100,000 – $180,000 base + incentives + growth upside

About the Opportunity
A top 7 National Commercial Cleaning Company is building out a complementary division focused on facility supplies, mat rental, and consumable services.
This business operates similarly to:
- Cintas
- UniFirst
- Aramark (facility services)
- Ferguson (distribution elements)
The division is already generating approximately $3M in revenue and is positioned for rapid growth by leveraging an established, highly penetrated commercial client base.
This is a unique opportunity to take over an existing book of business and aggressively scale it, both within current accounts and into new markets.
About The Role
This is a sales-first leadership role with full operational ownership of the division. While the title is Sales Manager, this position functions as a General Manager / Business Leader, responsible for driving revenue, expanding services, and building a scalable operation. You will take over an existing foundation and be expected to grow the business quickly and strategically.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Account Expansion
- Drive growth within an existing ~$3M book of business
- Expand services (mats, consumables, facility supplies) into current client accounts
- Identify and close new business across commercial and industrial clients
Sales Leadership
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, closing, and account expansion
- Develop a repeatable sales process and pipeline strategy
- Establish pricing, packaging, and service positioning
Market Expansion
- Scale beyond St. Louis into additional markets aligned with company footprint
- Identify regional growth opportunities and execute expansion plans
Operations & Execution
- Oversee service delivery, logistics, and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate supply chain elements (products, rentals, replenishment cycles)
- Build processes that support scalable growth
Build & Lead
- Initially operate as a hands-on leader (player-coach)
- Recruit and build a team as the business grows
- Take increasing ownership as the division scales (clear path to senior leadership title)
What We’re Looking For
Relevant Experience
- Background in:
- - Mat rental, uniform rental, or facility services (Cintas / UniFirst / Aramark-style models)
- - B2B consumables, distribution, or recurring service sales
- Experience managing or growing a book of business and recurring revenue model
Sales-Driven Operator
- Strong hunter mentality with ability to close new business
- Comfortable expanding within existing accounts
- Proven ability to grow revenue in a competitive market
