About the Company
Our client is a nationally recognized, award-winning franchise organization and an established leader in the commercial services industry. With more than 30 years of sustained growth, the company has built an extensive franchise network throughout the United States and internationally, supporting thousands of franchise business owners and tens of thousands of commercial clients.
The organization has earned national recognition for its franchise model, financial strength, innovation, growth, franchisee support and corporate culture. It combines the stability and resources of an established national organization with an entrepreneurial environment that continues to invest in new technology, systems, people and growth.
They are now looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join their corporate accounting department in Pompano Beach, Florida.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant who wants to become an important part of a growing organization, work directly with company leadership and take meaningful ownership of the day-to-day accounting operation.
Position Overview
This is a hands-on, sleeves-rolled-up accounting leadership role working directly alongside the Accounting Manager within a complex, multi-entity franchise environment.
The successful candidate will serve as both a team leader and a team player. This is not a position for someone who simply delegates accounting responsibilities. If something needs to be completed, this individual jumps in and gets it done.
There is also no completely predictable “typical day.” The accounting team supports a sophisticated franchise structure involving corporate operations, Master Franchisees, Unit Franchisees, banking relationships, outside CPAs, insurance requirements and international accounting support.
Priorities can change quickly. A franchisee may need immediate banking assistance. An international team member may need guidance categorizing a transaction. An account may require reconciliation. A system issue may arise. Someone may be unavailable and their responsibility still needs to be completed. The right person will enjoy that environment—someone who can adapt, prioritize, solve problems and take ownership without waiting to be told what to do.
Work Schedule & Hybrid Opportunity
This position will begin fully in-office at the Pompano Beach corporate office for a minimum of the first 90 days. Because of the complexity of the organization, its franchise accounting structure and the amount of interaction required with the corporate team, having that initial in-person support is important to becoming successful in the role.
Following the initial 90-day period, employees who have demonstrated the ability to independently manage their responsibilities may become eligible for the company’s standard hybrid schedule of three days in-office and two days remote per week.
The timing is based on individual readiness rather than an automatic calendar date. Some individuals may benefit from additional in-office training and support, potentially extending the initial in-office period up to approximately six months.
The goal is to provide the training and support necessary for this person to become fully confident and successful before transitioning to greater flexibility.

Experience with liability insurance, workers’ compensation policies and insurance audits is highly preferred.
The Ideal Fit
We are looking for someone who understands that leadership doesn’t mean standing above the work—it means taking ownership of it. If someone on the team is unavailable and something needs to be done, you do it. If an unexpected problem arises, you help solve it. If priorities change halfway through the day, you adjust.
You are someone who can lead, coach and support others while still being willing to roll up your sleeves and personally handle reconciliations, banking issues, accounting questions and whatever else the day requires. If you are looking for a predictable position where every day follows the same checklist, this probably isn’t the right opportunity.
If you enjoy variety, responsibility, problem-solving, teamwork and being the person others can depend on, then we want to hear from you today!
