Incredible Opportunity! Our client is seeking a Full Time, Support Services Clerk to support all internal departmental functions


Starting Pay: $19 - $21/Hour | Schedule: Monday - Friday

Our client has a rich, Memphis-based history of over 40 years who is looking to add a Support Services Clerk to their incredible team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and ensure efficient operation of the internal departments of the company. In this role you will be a vital member of the team supporting their customers both internally and externally. The main weekly activity will be working as a support providing document preparation and maintaining accuracy of claims and credit requests in their system. This position will require extensive use of AS400 Gartman System, Microsoft Office, Outlook and Internet. You will need to have the ability to handle high volume inquiries and document requests with courtesy and tact along with being able to organize responsibilities and tasks and while multi-tasking situations with a high degree of accuracy and competence.

  • Key Intra-Company Contacts:  Customer Service, Operations Managers, Purchasing and Samples Staff, Warehouse Manager, Account Managers and RSM

Summary of Key Job Functions:

  • Prepares source documents for computer entry by compiling, sorting, and organizing documents; resolving questionable data; setting daily priorities.
  • Maintains claims system by inputting claims and credit requests.
  • Prevents erroneous entries by inputting voids and cancellations.
  • Updates records by entering adjustments.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Verifies credit accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions and reporting.
  • Maintains historical records by imaging and indexing documents.

General Requirements:

  • A Minimum of two years previous experience handling detailed data entry and claims processing or re-billing of invoices.
  • PC proficiency using AS400 system with highly accurate data entry skills.
  • Entering orders with 100% accuracy… we value doing it right the first time.
  • Strong analytical ability with attention to detail.
